Issues management, public order and organization development specialist providing research, analysis, and practical action plans related to internal/external emerging and critical issues, change management, risk assessments, and employee engagement. So far completed employee surveys and 360 assessment for over 300 workplaces and over 12,000 employees. Completed over 60 critical issues and environmental scans for diverse locations.

Currently consultant and Associate Professor in the MBA program of University Canada West (Vancouver). Retired as Division Director of Research, Analysis &  Strategic Intelligence with Operations Strategy Branch, Royal Canadian Mounted Police, British Columbia headquarters. Served for two years as national Director of Change Management with RCMP headquarters in Ottawa. Previously: business/political journalist, Associate Deputy Minister (Premier’s Office, B.C.), Senior Vice-President international consulting firm (Verus Group), sessional instructor, Change Dynamics, Stakeholder Relations (University of Victoria, Kwantlen Polytechnic University), sessional instructor Niagara Institute (issues management).

Doctorate in Human & Organizational Systems, Masters degrees in Human Development as well as Leadership and Training, undergrad in Public Administration, Certificate in Peer Counselling. Completed courses from Harvard University in Business Analytics and Management Essentials.

Issues management experience with international and national corporations, not-for-profits, professional associations, and government intelligence and law enforcement agencies including U.S. Homeland Security. Work has taken me to Asia, South America, North America.

Recipient of the 2022 University Canada West Sustained Excellence in Teaching Award plus the Always Chase Excellence quarterly award, Howard Chase Award for outstanding issues management, presented in Washington D.C. Three national RCMP awards for strategic communications and 9 awards for investigative journalism.

Served as a board member of the Issues Management Council based in Leesberg Virginia, sharing board duties with representatives from Daimler-Chrysler, Royal Dutch Shell, Nike, Weyerhaeuser Corp., and others.

  3. Hello Eli, I trust all is well. I am wondering if you may want to be involved in January 2021. I was hoping to use much of the work you did for us in 2018-19 and see how much things have changed. SO I think th escope of work would involve finalizing the survey. We now have our own online tool to host the survey and then it would be doing the analysis and comparison with the last survey. Let me know your thoughts
